Story by: Rick Kalowski & Jennifer Perrott
“A life changing secret forces 11 year old Chaya and her father Simcha to leave their tiny Ultra-Orthodox Jewish community of Melbourne, Australia for the wider world. But even there, Chaya’s truth can’t stay hidden permanently, threatening to force Chaya and Simcha apart forever. A heartfelt drama with comedy in English and some Yiddish, full of Klezmer music performed by the cast.”
